The beautiful Ceiriog Valley -" a little piece of Heaven on earth" to quote David Lloyd George - is rich in history: visit Chirk Castle, the awe-inspiring UNESCO Telford Aqueducts and amazingly preserved Erdigg Hall, or Llangollen, world famous for its International Music Eisteddfod, Heritage Steam Trains, Horse-drawn Canal Boat trips, and White Water Rafting. There is golf and fishing locally and a new swimming pool in Oswestry.
